PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body motion assisting device in which a wearing feeling is improved when it is worn on a body portion.SOLUTION: A body motion assisting device SU includes: a first support member 20 held on an upper arm A1 sandwiching an elbow joint A3 and a second support member 60 held on a front arm A2 and connected at an arm rear part 60c with respect to a rotary support shaft 31 arranged on the first support member 20 so as to be rotated/displaced. The body motion assisting device further includes a ratchet gear 90 which is engaged with the arm rear part 60c, is linked with the second support member 60 to perform attitude displacement, and is linked with a first actuation motor 109 and a second actuation motor 110 arranged on the first support member 20.
