PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe and a sole suitable for a person who has bow-legs, capable of reducing a load applied to a knee, and achieving falling of a lower leg to inside.SOLUTION: A midsole 1 comprises: a rear end area R supporting a rear end of an inside of a foot and a rear end of an outside of a foot including a lower end of a calcaneus Bc; an inside area M extending from a front end of the inside of the rear end area R to a bone bottom of a proximal phalanx B1 of a first toe and supporting the inside of the foot excluding the rear end area R; and an outside area L extending from a front end of the outside of the rear end area R to bottom bones of proximal phalanxes B4, B5 of fourth and fifth toes, and supporting the outside of the foot excluding the rear end area R.
