PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watching system that can keep track of daily movements including walking speed of a watching object person.SOLUTION: A watching system comprises a plurality of slave stations 2 (2A-2G) and a master unit 3 installed in a house H. When each slave unit 2 senses an object person, it transmits a notification signal to the master unit 3. On the basis of time data on a notification signal from the slave unit 2D and time data on a notification signal from the slave unit 2E, the master unit 3 calculates a travel time from a bed room PD to a bathroom PD of the watching object person, and calculates walking speed of the watching object person on the basis of the travel time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】見守り対象者の歩速を含む日常行動を把握可能な見守りシステムを提供する。【解決手段】見守りシステムは、住居Ｈに設置された複数の子機２（２Ａ～２Ｇ）と親機３とを備える。各子機２は、対象者を感知すると通知信号を親機３に送信する。親機３は、子機２Ｄからの通知信号の時刻データと子機２Ｅからの通知信号の時刻データとに基づいて、見守り対象者の寝室ＰＤからトイレＰＤまでの移動時間を算出し、当該移動時間に基づき見守り対象者の歩速を算出する。【選択図】図１
