PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope that sufficiently secures an adjustment margin for adjusting the length of an insertion part protruding with respect to an operation part.SOLUTION: A projection-length adjustment part 50 includes: an insertion-part-side connection member 53 an operation-part-side connection member 54 and an adjustment ring 55. A flexible tube 36 constituting the insertion part 11 is fixed to the insertion-part-side connection member 53. The operation-part-side connection member 54 is fixed to a housing 49 of the operation part 12. In the adjustment ring 55, a first female screw part 61 is formed on the inner peripheral surface, and a first male screw part 62 reversely screwed with respect to the first female screw part 61 is formed on the outer peripheral surface. In the adjustment ring 55, the first female screw part 61 is engaged with a second male screw part 64 of the insertion-part-side connection member 53, and the first male screw part 62 is engaged with a second female screw part 68 of the operation-part-side connection member 54.
