PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately estimate information processing abilities of various users without interrupting a task of original work that each user currently performs.SOLUTION: An information processing ability estimation apparatus stores sets of HRV (Heart Rate Variability) feature amounts and task achievements obtained by measuring a plurality of preliminary data measurement users in a preliminary DB 3； creates a multiple regression model using the stored task achievements as an objective variable, and the HRV feature amounts as an explanatory variable； and stores the multiple regression coefficient calculated in a process of the creation in the preliminary DB 3 in association with the HRV feature amounts. When estimating the information processing ability of a user to be estimated, the information processing ability estimation apparatus calculates an HRV feature amount from pulse wave data of the user to be estimated, reads a corresponding multiple regression coefficient from the preliminary DB 3 on the basis of the HRV feature amount, and multiplies the multiple regression coefficient by the HRV feature amount so as to acquire an estimation amount of the information processing ability of the user to be estimated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
