PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysaccharide component with excellent moisturizing effectiveness, without skin tense feeling after drying and suitably usable as a cosmetic or a skin external preparation, and a component with effectiveness of improving foam quality without changing the viscosity of a prescription in a detergent composition.SOLUTION: The cosmetic or the skin external preparation mixed with Prunus persica gum exhibits excellent moisturizing effectiveness, does not have skin tense feeling after drying and is satisfactory in a feel.
