PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical stapling device with tri-staples.SOLUTION: A surgical stapling device is described having a tool assembly 114 including an anvil assembly 132 and a cartridge assembly 134. The cartridge assembly has a series of tri-staples which are supported and configured to be rotatably ejected from the cartridge assembly into the anvil assembly to suture tissue.
