A method, system, application and data signal for determining movement is described herein. In an example, the system may include a processing hardware set and computer readable storage device medium, the processing hardware set adapted to be structured, connected and/or programmed to run program instructions stored on the computer readable storage medium. The program instructions may include at least one receiving module adapted to receive movement data indicative of movement from a remote device, at least one processing module adapted to process the moving data to determine a type of movement, and at least one alerting module adapted to provide an alert in the event that the type of movement falls within at least one predetermined type.
