This invention relates to a beverage formulation and a beverage production method, in particular relates to a beverage formulation which is composed of various natural plants comprising glossocardia bidens, peppermint, licorice, siraitia grosvenori, stevia and perilla frutescens. The beverage production method of the invention comprises the steps of: placing the beverage formulation into a pot adding water into the pot and cooking on high heat until it is boiled, turning into low heat, and then, turning off the heat to cool. This invention can enhance the drinking taste and has health efficacies of detoxification, eliminating dampness and reducing swelling, improving blood circulation, treating heat stroke, reducing liver heat, diuretic, quenching thirst, helping stomach digestion, and eliminating stomach bloating, anti-inflammation and antitussive, lung clearing and cough relieving, low sweet, low calories, and expectorant and antitussive.
