The gears can be permanently used compared with a conventional smashing part having a sharp blade for smashing, and it is possible to dispose of a large amount of needles since the volume of separated waste is very small. In addition, since a needle is completely removed from a syringe needle assembly, the apparatus is much safer than most conventional apparatuses for separating or removing a syringe needle in which a part of a needle remains.
