PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed breed seaweed controlling device without troubles in counter rotation of chain for extermination provided with projections for extermination, imparting a sufficient extermination effect at a place where depth of water is deep. SOLUTION: The exterminating device body 3 of the mixed breed seaweed exterminating device 1 is composed of a pontoon 2, a pair of right and left booms 4 installed as freely raised up/brought down on the upper face of the front end part 2A of the pontoon, and the exterminating device body 3 installed at the tip of the boom, and the boom part is composed of the boom body and an arm connected on the tip of the boom body as freely raised up/brought down, the exterminating device body 3 is composed of a shaft 3B supported as capable of normally rotating or counter rotating between the supporting frames 3A, and 3A, a plurality of drums 3C for chain fixed on the shaft, an upper pulley 3E supported on the slantingly rear downward of it, and a lower pulley 3C1 supported on the slantingly rear downward of it, and a plurality of exterminating chains 3D suspended as like a reed screen, in an endless state from the chain drum 3C and the position of the lower pulley is adjustable in the vertical direction.
