The present invention relates to a device for assisting locomotion (1) in particular for teaching locomotion for children suffering from motor and cerebral palsy, said device comprising:- a frame (2) mounted on wheels (4)- a seat (3) allowing the reception of an individual- connecting means (20) secured to the frame (2) and the seat (3) along two pivot links (21 a, 21 b) and allowing the passage between a substantially horizontal position and a substantially vertical position of the seat respectively corresponding to locomotion positions said on all fours and sitting.La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'aide à la locomotion (1) notamment destiné à l'apprentissage de la locomotion pour des enfants souffrant d'infirmité motrice et cérébrale, ledit dispositif comportant :- un châssis (2) monté sur roulettes (4)- un siège (3) permettant la réception d'un individu- des moyens de liaison (20) assujettis au châssis (2) et au siège (3) suivant deux liaisons pivot (21 a, 21 b) et autorisant le passage entre une position sensiblement horizontale et une position sensiblement verticale du siège correspondant respectivement aux positions de locomotion dites à quatre pattes et assise.
