PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition for giving a water stress adjustment action to fruit vegetables.SOLUTION: This fruit-vegetable-water stress adjusting composition includes rare sugar as the active ingredient. A method for cultivating fruit vegetables by using the composition is also provided. The composition raises the sugar contents of fruits and increases fruit weights. Furthermore, the combined application of the composition with the application of a high-concentration culture solution and a culture solution added with salts relieves excessive water stress, increases a fruit yield, and decreases physiological disorder of fruits, such as rot from the bottom so as to achieve productivity improvement.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】果菜類に水分ストレス調節作用を付与する新規組成物の提供。【解決手段】希少糖を有効成分とすることを特徴とする果菜類の水分ストレス調節組成物およびこれを用いた果菜類の栽培方法。【効果】果実の糖度を上昇させ、果実重量を増加させることができる。また、高濃度培養液や塩類添加の培養液の施用と併用することにより、過度な水分ストレスを緩和し、果実の収量アップや尻腐れなどの果実の生理障害を低減することができ生産性の向上が達成できる。【選択図】図14
