PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll baler capable of compactly constructing an engine air inlet system in an engine section.
SOLUTION: The roll baler includes: a traveling section 3 a harvesting section 4 placed in front of and above the traveling section 3 a hopper section 5 placed behind the harvesting section 4 a conveying section 7 placed beneath the hopper section 5 a forming section placed behind the conveying section 7 a net feed section placed in between the hopper section 5 and the forming section and above the conveying section 7 an engine section 9 in front of and beneath the hopper section 5 and a steering section 11 placed in front of both the hopper section 5 and the engine section 9. In the roll baler, the hopper section 5 has a hopper 21 with a slope 21c with its front higher and its rear lower when viewed sideways on the front face of the steering section 11 side, and the engine section 9 is such that an air cleaner 60 is placed above an engine 41 and beneath the slope 21c of the hopper 21.
