PURPOSE: An eco-friendly ecological structure is provided to improve the water quality by installing to a settling pond, a deep swamp, and an ecological pond waterway. CONSTITUTION: An eco-friendly ecological structure is installed on cube timber or a wire mesh structure(21), and produced with timber or metal materials. The eco-friendly ecological structure comprises the following: an anchor mat(25) formed with a mesh body(23) attached to the outer wall of the wire mesh structure, for sucking water from the lower side to a vegetation mat on the upper side; and the vegetation mat located on the upper side of the anchor mat for planting plants. The structure is filled with gravels, crushed stones(22), porous concrete products, or bio-gravels.
