PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type absorbent article capable of preventing side leakage on the abdominal side of a wearer when it is put on, sufficiently covering buttocks on the back side, and sufficiently catching loose stool or the like, even though it is a type in which an exterior body is divided into an abdominal side sheet and a back side sheet.
SOLUTION: The diaper 1A includes an abdominal side sheet 2A, a back side sheet 2B, and an absorbent body 3 fixed via a fixing portion 4 over the sheets 2A and 2B. The back side sheet 2B is provided with a back side sheet body 20B and a back side extension portion 21B extended downward. The absorbent body 3 is provided with an abdominal side movable portion 36A extended outward in the width direction at a part other than the fixing portion 4 with the abdominal side sheet 2A, and has a back side movable portion 36B extended outward in the width direction at a part other than the fixing portion 4 with the back side sheet 2B, and the width of the abdominal side movable portion 36A is larger than the width of the back side movable portion 36B.
