PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit, in an absorbent article including a back sheet made from non-woven fabric, an adhesive agent for connecting a leak prevention sheet to the back sheet from peeling off from the back sheet.SOLUTION: An absorbent article having a longer direction, width direction, and thickness direction intersecting with one another comprises: an absorber for absorbing liquid a back sheet made from non-woven fabric disposed on the non-wearers skin side of the absorber a leak prevention sheet provided between the absorber and the back sheet and a slip stopping adhesion part formed by an adhesive agent provided on the non-skin side surface of the back sheet. The back sheet includes a compression area which is an area compressed in the thickness direction, and a part in which the slip stopping adhesion part and the compression area partially overlap with each other.
