PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which has a notch on an upper end part of an abdominal side waistline part, and which hardly applies stimulation to a skin of a wearer in a wearing time of the disposable diaper.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper comprises a vertical direction, a lateral direction and a thickness direction which cross each other, and a waistline part which is arranged on a waist part of a wearer. The waistline part comprises an inner layer sheet and an outer layer sheet which are overlapped and jointed in the thickness direction, and a notch is provided on a center part of an abdominal side of the waistline part in the lateral direction and on an upper end part of the vertical direction.
