PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of touch in an absorbent article having leakage prevention walls.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has: an absorber (11) having a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction crossing each other； and a pair of leakage prevention walls (50) which are provided on both sides in the lateral direction of the absorber (11) and are composed of sheet members (50s) having a plurality of first welding parts (61) on the surface. The leakage prevention walls (50) have a lamination part (50L) where the sheet members (50s) are layered in a thickness direction in the way that it grips elastic members (52) stretching in the longitudinal direction. At least in a part of an area of the lamination part (50L), there are provided a plurality of second welding parts (62) bonding laminated sheet members (50s) to each other.
