The present invention relates to an X-ray image detector having an isolation layer for blocking leakage current and a manufacturing method thereof, an X-ray image detector with an optical switching method includes a X-ray photoconducting layer (X-ray PCL), a charge accumulation layer (CAL) and a readout photoconducting layer (PCL) successively laminated from the top of a glass substrate which has a plurality of electrode lines and an isolation layer which is formed along the electrode lines in between the adjacent two electrode lines among the plurality of electrode lines for blocking the leakage current between the adjacent electrode lines. According to the present invention, the more accurate and reliable image can be provided by blocking the effects of the leakage current to the adjacent electrode lines by forming an insulation layer with an insulating material in between electrode lines in an X-ray image detector.본 발명은, 누설전류를 차단하기 위한 절연층이 형성된 엑스-선 영상 검출기 및 이의 제조 방법으로서, 광 스위칭 방식의 엑스-선 영상 검출기에 있어서, 복수개의 전극 라인이 형성된 유리 기판에 상부로부터 순차적으로 적층된 엑스선 광전도층(X-ray PCL； photoconducting layer), 전하 수집층(CAL； charge accumulation layer) 및 리드아웃 광전도층(readout PCL)을 포함하되, 상기 복수개의 전극 라인 중 서로 인접한 두 개의 전극 라인 간의 사이에 상기 전극 라인을 따라 형성되어, 서로 인접한 전극 라인 간의 누설전류를 차단하는 절연층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엑스-선 영상 검출기와 이를 제조하는 방법이며, 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면 엑스-선 영상 검출기에서 전극 라인간의 사이에 절연 물질로 절연층을 형성시켜 인접한 전극 라인에 누설 전류의 영향을 차단함으로써 보다 정확하고 신뢰도 높은 영상을 제공할 수 있다.
