PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow confirmation of a lapse of time or the like during the execution of a contrast medium protocol on a screen.SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe a transmitting-receiving means for driving the ultrasonic probe to transmit ultrasonic pulses into a subject while receiving ultrasonic echoes from the inside of the subject to output received data an ultrasonic image forming means for forming an ultrasonic image from the obtained received data a display means for displaying the formed ultrasonic image and an intermittent photographing control means for controlling the respective means to form the ultrasonic image of a contrast medium at a frame rate smaller than 1, sand performing contrast medium ultrasonic photographing while intermittently repeating ultrasonic scanning.
