PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate a fluid such as blood or CSF(cerebrospinal fluid) and a tissue containing fat with a further good contrast by using the difference in relaxing time of magnetization of the both.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes data collection means and image data generation means. The data collection means collects magnetic resonance imaging data in an imaging condition in which the signs of vertical magnetization of the fluid and vertical magnetization of the tissue differed from the fluid are mutually reversed at a collection time of the magnetic resonance imaging data.
