PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective pixel detection method and a radiographic imaging apparatus in which a defective pixel of a radiograph detector is properly detected and excessive correction can be suppressed.
SOLUTION: A first threshold is used to detect a temporary defect from a detection image of a defective pixel, detected defective pixels are classified into long defects and other defects, and a defective pixel is re-detected from the detection image by making a second threshold, which is equal to or greater than the first threshold, corresponding to the long defects and making a third threshold, which is greater than the first threshold, corresponding to the other defects. Regarding the defective pixel detected with the second threshold, information indicating that correction is not performed on a defect of a length exceeding a predetermined threshold is added.
