The present invention relates to a novel phenolic acid derivative compound having whitening and antioxidative activities and a use thereof and, more specifically, to a compound represented by chemical formula (1) below, an isomer thereof, or a salt thereof. The compounds according to the present invention can be favorably used not only for a pharmaceutical composition or cosmetic product for skin whitening due to skin whitening activity thereof through the inhibition of tyrosinase, but also for the prevention or improvement of skin aging and the like due to antioxidative activity thereof.La présente invention concerne un nouveau composé dérivé d'acide phénolique présentant des activités de blanchiment et antioxydantes et une utilisation de celui-ci et, plus spécifiquement, un composé représenté par la formule chimique (1) ci-dessous, un isomère de celui-ci, ou un sel de celui-ci.
