The present invention relates to a greenhouse controller in a greenhouse environment control system and a method thereof, which enable a minimal control for protecting plant growth and greenhouse facilities through a preset control logic of a wireless node itself in cases of errors in a greenhouse environment controller or communication errors with the wireless node in the greenhouse environment control system. The controller includes: a database for each control mode which defines a control command according to driver control data and control data respectively for a driver direct control mode for the control of each driver, a control mode based on greenhouse environment data, and a control mode based on a control history in a greenhouse； a communication error detecting unit which detects a communication error state with the greenhouse environment controller； and a control unit which controls the corresponding driver depending on a control command loaded by loading control data defined in the database for each control mode selected by a user and the control command according to the control data from the database when errors occur in a communication state with the greenhouse environment controller as a detection result from the communication error detecting unit.본 발명은 온실 환경 제어기의 기기 이상이나, 온실 환경 제어 시스템에서 무선 노드와의 통신 이상 시 무선 노드 자체의 기 설정된 제어 로직을 통하여 온실시설 및 작물생육 보호를 위한 최소한의 제어가 가능하도록 한 온실 환경 제어 시스템에서의 온실 제어장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 상기 장치는, 온실 내 각 구동기의 제어를 위한 구동기 직접 제어모드, 온실 환경 데이터 기반 제어모드, 제어 이력 기반 제어모드 별 각각 구동기 제어 데이터와 각 제어 데이터에 따른 제어명령을 정의한 각각의 제어모드별 데이터베이스； 상기 온실 환경 제어기와의 통신 이상 상태를 검출하는 통신 이상 검출부； 및 상기 통신 이상 검출부에서 검출 결과, 온실 환경 제어기와의 통신상태에 이상이 발생한 경우, 사용자가 선택한 제어 모드별 상기 데이터베이스에 정의한 제어 데이터와 제어데이터에 따른 제어명령을 상기 데이터베이스로부터 로딩하여 로딩된 제어명령에 따란 해당하는 구동기를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
