PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a needle-like body, by which releasing is easy when releasing a mold from a needle-like body original plate and releasing the needle-like body from the mold.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a needle-like body 101 is characterized in that, by using a needle-like body original plate 211 having a functional layer 107, the needle-like body 101 whose surface has the functional layer is fabricated. The functional layer 107 acts as a releasing layer for the needle-like body original plate 211 and a mold 201, and the mold and the needle-like body.
