PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce treatment time while bringing in exposure administration records.SOLUTION: In a particle beam treatment apparatus, a subordinate controller, upon receiving a slice irradiation termination notification, copies data stored in a current value area to a current value saving area of internal memory a host controller, upon receiving a copy completion notification, issues a slice changeover command to a computer and the subordinate controller. The computer, upon receiving the slice changeover command, reads data from the current value saving area of the subordinate controller and stores the data in a database. A device, upon receiving a changeover operation start command, transmits the current value after the changeover to the subordinate controller, and the subordinate controller writes the current value transmitted from the device to the current value area. The host controller, upon receiving a current value read completion notification and a slice changeover operation completion notification, starts the next slice irradiation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
