A method of preparing an adhesive wound dressing, the dressing comprising a central portion and an edge portion, the method comprising the steps of providing a support layer, drawing the support layer into a mold and dispensing a portion of uncured adhesive over the mold, distributing the adhesive in the mold and removing excess adhesive. The adhesive is cured and the support layer is detached from the mold. The central portion is provided with a plurality of through-going holes and an absorbent pad is placed on the non-adhesive side of the central portion and finally a backing layer is laminated to the absorbent pad and the edge portion of the support layer.La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation dun pansement adhésif pour plaie, le pansement comprenant une partie centrale et une partie latérale, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à fournir une couche de support, à placer la couche de support dans un moule et à distribuer une partie dadhésif non durci sur le moule, à distribuer ladhésif dans le moule et à retirer ladhésif en excès. Ladhésif est durci et la couche de support est détachée du moule. La partie centrale est dotée dune pluralité de trous débouchants et un coussinet absorbant est placé sur le côté non adhésif de la partie centrale et finalement une couche de support est stratifiée sur le coussinet absorbant et une partie latérale de la couche de support.
