PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generally improve maintainability.SOLUTION: A deodorizing device includes photocatalyst filters 2 through which a gas G containing at least malodor components passes, and a light source 3 which irradiates one side of the photocatalyst filters 2 with light. A filter 18 for collecting contaminating components is selectively installed at the windward side of the photocatalyst filters 2 when the gas G contains the contaminating components as well. A maintenance means is provided for maintenance of at least one of the photocatalyst filters 2, the filter 18 for collection and the light source 3.
