The present invention relates to a method for forming pores in pellets using non-viscous powder. The method comprises the steps of: (a) preparing air purifier powder and a solvent for molding (b) mixing the air purifier powder with the solvent to provide a mixture (c) compressing the mixture to form a first molded product (d) subjecting the first molded product to a calcination process and a polishing process to form primary pores and (e) subjecting the molded product having the primary pores to a vacuum process to form secondary pores, thereby providing a final molded product. The pellet-like air purifier having pores formed according to the present invention has higher purification quality as compared to the conventional air purifiers, and is handled and applied with ease. The conventional powder type air purifiers show excessive generation of microdust and cause degradation of the durability of a filter and a decrease in contact ratio between the air purifier powder with contaminated air, and thus require a long reaction time and cannot provide high efficiency in a short time.
