The present invention relates to an upconversion nanophosphor having a size of 10 nm or less (greater than 0) capable of emitting various colors under infrared excitation in a 980 nm band and, more specifically, to an upconversion nanophosphor capable of multicolor emission, which comprises: a core including Yb^3+, Tm^3+, and Er^3+-doped fluoride nanoparticles； and a shell including a fluoride crystalline compound, and surrounding at least a portion of the core, and to a production method thereof.본 발명은 980 ㎚ 대역의 적외선 여기하에서 다양한 색을 발광할 수 있는 10 ㎚ 이하(0 초과)의 크기를 갖는 상향변환 나노형광체로서, Yb3+, Tm3+ 및 Er3+가 도핑된 불화물계 나노입자를 포함하는 코어； 및 불화물계 결정질 화합물을 포함하되, 상기 코어의 적어도 일부를 둘러싸는, 쉘；을 구비하는, 10 ㎚ 이하의 크기를 갖는 다색발광이 가능한 상향변환 나노형광체 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다.
