Die Erfindung betrifft poröse Körper (PK) auf Basis einer Mischung aus Eiweiß- und Polysaccharid-Naturpolymeren, insbesondere Chitosan, mit weiterhin mindestens einer Mono- und/oder Polycarbonsäure, einem nicht ionischen Tensid und vorzugsweise einem Vernetzer, wobei der PK einstellbare hexagonale oder ovale Porenstrukturen im Bereich von 0,1 µm bis 1000 µm aufweist.Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung, wobei die PK aus verschäumten wässrigen Zubereitungen auf Basis von Polysacchariden und Eiweißen entstehen und durch nachfolgende konventionelle Schaum-Trocknung ohne Gefriertrocknung erzeugt werden.
