A tool (10) for manipulating a material (20) seated on a surface (30) or part thereof, the tool (10) comprising: an elongated handle (40) having proximal (42) and distal (48) ends ); an elongated handle (50), at a proximal end (42) of the elongated handle (40); and a composite head (70), fixed by a central part (75) thereof to a distal end (48) of the elongated handle (50), the composite head (70) having a first tool section (80) having a first tangential angle at one end of the first tool section (80), less than 30 degrees, with respect to the elongated handle (40), and having a second tool section (90) with a second tangential angle at one end of the second tool section (90), between 60 and 120 degrees, with respect to the elongated handle (40); so that the tool (10) can alternatively be used in a first orientation, to work on the material (20) substantially tangential to the surface, using the first tool section (80), or, rotating the elongated handle 180 degrees (40), in a second orientation, to work on the material (20) substantially orthogonal to the surface using the second tool section (90), characterized in that said first tool section (80) has a lateral profile that defines a first parabolic expression, and said second tool section (90) has a side profile defining a second parabolic expression, rotated with respect to the first parabolic expression; said first and second tool sections (80, 90) having a continuous, non-linear transition between said parabolic expressions; said distal and proximal ends (48, 42) of the elongated handle (50) having a longitudinal axis, distally offset.Una herramienta (10) para manipular un material (20) asentado sobre una superficie (30) o parte de la misma, comprendiendo la herramienta (10): una empuñadura alargada (40) que tiene unos extremos proximal (42) y distal (48); un mango alargado (50), en un extremo proximal (42) de la empuñadura alargada (40); y un cabezal compuesto (70), fijado por una parte central (75) del mismo
