The false intraocular lens (1) has a planar lens portion (10) which is arranged posteriorly in the implanted state and is so designed that it rests against the natural lens (3) of the human eye. Another planar lens portion is provided anterior to the former lens portion in the implanted state. A cavity (30) is formed between the two lens portions and encloses an optically transparent medium. The medium enclosed in the cavity is component of a lenticel, has a refractive index which is higher than that of the surrounding medium, and represents a lenticel material displaceable in the cavity. An independent claim is included for a method for fine adjustment of the refractive power of a false intraocular lens.
