To provide a method of fluorescence calibration.SOLUTION: Excitation light is supplied to an object via an optical probe and is incident thereon. Fluorescence generated from the object is detected. Structural data of the object is obtained, and optical attenuation characteristics of the object is calculated based on the structural data.
