In some embodiments, the presentinvention relates to composition and method of preparation for treatingandrogenic alopecia (AGA), prevention of hair loss andfemale hirsutism. In some embodiment, the present invention comprisesfinasteride and at least one lipid component for thetreatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. In some embodiment, the presentinvention comprises tacrolimus or amphotericin B and atleast one lipid component for the treatment of skin or eye related diseases.The present invention provides a method of preparationof a composition comprising at least one active compound and at least onelipid and administering the composition to a subject byoral or topical delivery. In certain embodiments the subject is a mammal. Incertain preferred embodiment, the subject is human.
