PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter capable of accurately regulating the interval between stocks.SOLUTION: The transplanter is constituted as follows. A freely lifted and lowered transplanting body 158 for transplanting seedlings 2 by plugging into a ridge R when being lowered is provided at the rear part of a traveling body 3, and a detecting roller 161 rolling on the upper surface of the ridge R is provided on the front side of the transplanting body 158. A stock interval clutch 68 for turning off a power for lifting and lowering the transplanting body 158 for a required time when the transplanting body 158 is lifted is provided so that the seedlings 2 may be transplanted at a desired transplanting interval. A first stock interval sensor 69 for detecting the number of rotation of a transmission shaft 55 provided in a power transmission path of a traveling system of the traveling body 3, and a second stock interval sensor 176 for detecting the number of rotation of the detection roller 161 are provided.
