PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleaching sunscreen cosmetic that can stably mix a bleaching ingredient having an unstabilizing tendency in an oil-in-water type emulsion composition and has a fresh touch of use.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type bleaching sunscreen emulsion composition includes (A) a bleaching ingredient, (B) a bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, (C) a polar oil and (D) an acrylic acid/alkyl methacrylate copolymer. Preferably the bleaching ingredient is one or more selected from the group consisting of tranexamic acid, an alkoxysalicylic acid, ascorbic acid and their salts or derivatives.
