The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of an anthranilate synthase mutant for increasing amino acid content in a plant, a nucleic acid molecule coding the mutant, genetically modified organisms transformed by the nucleic acid, and the genetically modified organisms. The anthranilate synthase mutant can be effectively used for increasing amino acid content in a plant, and particularly, developing genetically modified rice which produces high quality rice containing amino acid at high content.본 발명은 식물에서 아미노산의 함량을 증가시킬 수 있는 안쓰라닐레이트 합성효소의 변이체, 이 변이체를 코딩하는 핵산 분자, 이 핵산 분자로 형질전환된 형질전환 식물체 및 이 형질전환식물체를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 안쓰라닐레이트 합성효소 변이체는 식물체에서 아미노산의 함량을 증가시키는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있으며, 특히 아미노산이 고함량으로 함유된 고품질 쌀을 생산하는 형질전환 벼 개발에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
