PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner efficiently removing polluted air staying on surface of a table or floor.
SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with: an air fan 6 set inside a body 3 so as to form an air flow passage 5 via a filter 4 provided at a suction port 1 of the body side a front opening 8 opened in a front panel 7 provided in the front face of the suction port 1 of the body side a front cover 10 with a smaller width dimension than the front panel 7 and provided to cover the front opening 8 with a gap 9 and a front air-intake port 11 and a lower air-intake port 12 provided between the front cover 10 and body 3. The lower air-intake port 12 is opened near the lower end of the front cover 10, with an opening area set larger than the front air-intake port 11, thus providing the air cleaner efficiently removing polluted air staying on the surface of a table or floor 17.
