PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grafting tool for seedlings of Cucurbitaceae such as cucumber, melon, and water melon, or other eggplant or tomato, which is capable of making grafting work simple and more efficient while improving the survival rate of grafted trees.SOLUTION: This grafting tool for seedlings includes a cylindrical body 1 which is made by injection molding plastic having moderate elasticity, for instance, Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA). The tool is formed by forming a vertical-direction crack 2 which reaches an internal circumference surface 3 of the cylindrical body 1, on one side of the cylindrical body, providing inward ribs 10 which pass through in the vertical direction, in three places at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the internal circumference surface 3 of the cylindrical body 1, forming a difference in level between the internal circumference surface 3 of the cylindrical body 1 and the rib 10, protruding the upper ends 11 and lower ends of the ribs 10 at three places from the upper end surface 4 and the lower end surface 5 of the cylindrical body 1, and forming an inclined surface 13 which inclines from the cylindrical body 1 to the edge of the rib, at each of the upper ends 11 and lower ends of the projecting ribs 10 in 3 places.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】接ぎ木の活着率を向上させつつ、接ぎ木作業を平易化、効率化することができるキウリ、メロン、スイカ等の瓜類、その他ナス、トマトなどの幼苗の接ぎ木具を提供する。【解決手段】幼苗の接ぎ木具を、適度な弾性を有するプラスチック、例えば、EVAで射出成形した円筒形の筒形体1とし、その一側に、筒形体1の内周面3に達する上下方向の割れ目2を形成するとともに、筒形体1の内周面3の円周方向に等間隔な三箇所に、上下方向に貫通する内向きのリブ10を設け、筒形体1の内周面3とリブ10との間に段差を形成し、この三箇所のリブ10の上端11および下端を筒形体1の上端面4および下端面5よりも突出させ、この突出させた三箇所のリブ10の上端11および下端に、それぞれ筒形体1側からリブの先端へ向けて傾斜する傾斜面13を形成した。【選択図】図1
