SYSTÈME GÉNÉTIQUE POUR LE CONTRÔLE DU DÉVELOPPEMENT DU TYPE FLORAL DUNE PLANTE DICOTYLÉDONE, ET MISE EN OEUVRE DANS DES PROCÉDÉS DE DÉTECTION ET DE SÉLECTION
The subject matter of the present invention relates to a genetic system for controlling the floral development of a dicotyledonous plant, said system including a combination of two genetic control elements, namely a first genetic control element (A/a) present in a dicotyledonous plant, in the form of a dominant allele (A), and a recessive allele (a), and a second genetic control element (G/g) present in a dicotyledon plant, in the form of a dominant allele (G), and a recessive allele (g), wherein the first genetic control element has been artificially inserted into said dicotyledonous plant. The above system enables the sex of the flowers of dicotyledonous plants to be controlled and/or changed.La présente invention a pour objet un système génétique pour le contrôle du développement du type floral dune plante dicotylédone, ledit système comprenant la combinaison de deux éléments génétiques de contrôle, respectivement : - un premier élément génétique de contrôle (A/a) présent dans une plante dicotylédone, sous la forme dun allèle dominant (A), et dun allèle récessif (a), et - un second élément génétique de contrôle (G/g) présent dans une plante dicotylédone, sous la forme dun allèle dominant (G), et dun allèle récessif (g), étant entendu que le premier élément génétique de contrôle a été artificiellement introduit dans ladite plante dicotylédone. Le système ci-dessus permet de contrôler, et/ou de modifier le sexe des fleurs de plantes dicotylédones.
