An agitation control system of an agricultural system. The agitation controlsystem includes an agitator that induces movement of particulate materialthrough theagricultural system. An agitator motor couples to the agricultural system tomove theagitator. A first motor couples to the agitation control system. The firstmotorincludes a first sensor that detects a first temperature of the first motorand emits afirst signal indicative of the first temperature. A controller couples to theagitatormotor and to the first motor. The controller receives the first signalindicative of thefirst temperature from the first sensor and determines an ambient temperaturefromthe first temperature. The controller controls the agitator motor in responseto theambient temperature.
