PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable deodorizing catalyst unit which can be used in such a wet area space as has a high humidity and as may be exposed to an acidic property or an alkaline property.SOLUTION: A deodorizing catalyst unit comprises a metal base, an intermediate layer and a deodorizing catalyst unit layer. The air passes through a communication port of the metal base and contacts with a catalyst layer so that an odor material contained in the air is dissolved and/or adsorbed and deodorized.
