PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter hub which, when a guide wire with a bent tip is inserted from an opening of a proximal end of a hub of a catheter, enables the tip of the guide wire to be smoothly inserted into a lumen of a shaft of the catheter.SOLUTION: A catheter hub 14 includes: a shaft holding part 28 for holding the proximal end of a shaft 12 and a hub lumen forming part 34 which is provided on the proximal end side of the shaft holding part 28 and forms a hub lumen 24 communicated with a lumen of the shaft 12. The hub lumen forming part 34 has an asymmetrical guide part 38 which is decreased in inside diameter as it goes toward the tip direction at least in a part in the direction of an axis of the catheter hub 14 and which has an axis b inclined to the axis of the catheter hub 14.
