Method for making artificial rocks out of synthetic open-celled foams and application thereof to the forming of filtration volumes or masks for a range of equipment
The invention makes it possible to produce porous rocks having a very natural appearance. Blocks of synthetic open-celled foams are sculpted into the desired shape which can then be coated with hydraulic binders so as to increase their resemblance to natural rocks. The rocks produced are intended particularly for the creation of all kinds of artificial scenery with many applications, especially ornamental fish breeding.
