PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming tablet for oral cleaning in which the volume of a foaming agent upon foaming is appropriate so that the agent sufficiently spreads around and between the teeth and the tongue to provide a required cleaning effect with a volume at a level preventing, as much as possible, recognition of its presence in the mouth.SOLUTION: The foaming tablet for oral cleaning is obtained by forming a mixture into a tablet, the mixture comprising: a tablet base material comprising a material containing crystalline cellulose a foaming agent containing sodium bicarbonate and a polishing agent containing silicic anhydride.
