PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oral compositions having excellent effects in removing of and in inhibiting formation of coating of tongue, without problems of usability.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an oral composition which contains component (A): pyrrolidone carboxylic acid and/or a metal salt thereof, and component (B): an acyl taurine compound, and which can be used in applications, such as a tooth paste agent and mouthwash； as well as an agent for removing coating of tongue and an agent for inhibiting formation of coating of tongue which contain the components as active ingredients.
