A pharmaceutical composition comprising an avian paramyxovirus (APMV) for use in treating a tumor in a mammal wherein said treatment comprises the step of administering a cytotoxic amount of a first APMV to said mammal followed by the step of administering a cytotoxic amount of a second APMV to said mammal a period of 2-56 weeks from said first AMPV administration and wherein said second APMV has a HN protein is immunologically distinct from the first APMV, and wherein said second APMV has additionally an F protein that is immunologically distinct from the first APMV.Composición farmacéutica que comprende un paramixovirus aviar (APMV) para su uso en el tratamiento de un tumor en un mamífero, en donde dicho tratamiento comprende la etapa de administrar una cantidad citotóxica de un primer APMV a dicho mamífero, seguido de la etapa de administrar una cantidad citotóxica de un segundo APMV a dicho mamífero en un periodo de 2-56 semanas desde dicha administración del primer AMPV y en donde dicho segundo APMV tiene una proteína HN que es inmunológicamente diferente de la del primer APMV, y en donde dicho Segundo APMV tiene adicionalmente una proteína F que es inmunológicamente diferente de la del primer APMV.
