The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for moisturizing skin, containing chondroitin sulfate as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a cosmetic composition containing chondroitin sulfate of which molecular weight is 30-45 kDa as an active ingredient, so as to not only moisturize skin, but also have effects of promoting the differentiation of skin keratinocytes and recovering a skin barrier function. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention contains chondroitin sulfate as an active ingredient to have effects of promoting the differentiation of skin keratinocytes, recovering a skin barrier function, preventing the tightness and roughness of the skin, and increasing the elasticity, and thus, can be used for a skin moisturizing cosmetic material.본 발명은 콘드로이친 설페이트를 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부보습용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 분자량이 30~45KDa인 콘드로이친 설페이트를 유효성분으로 함유하여 피부보습 뿐만 아니라, 피부 각질형성세포 분화 촉진 및 피부 장벽기능 회복에 효과가 있는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 화장료 조성물은 유효성분으로 콘드로이친 설페이트을 함유하여 피부 각질형성세포의 분화를 촉진하고 피부 장벽기능을 회복시키며, 피부의 당김, 거칠음을 해소하고 탄력을 증가시키는 효과가 있어 피부 보습용 화장료로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
